BUTCHER & SPROUT

My goal for this brand was to create a sophisticated yet down-to-earth design for a gourmet, family-friendly restaurant aesthetic. I decided to use a simple, serif typeface for this design to represent the down-home, farm house theme. I developed a few different icons – a sprout to go along with the restaurant name, a couple different barn illustrations, and a cow to represent the burgers. My pattern is composed of six different barn illustrations arranged in a variety of orientations and sizes. I chose a simple color palette using off-white and sage-green to illustrate the restaurant's gourmet, farm-house aesthetic.
